Free Coaching for the Drupal Community

In 2024 I became a certified coach to round out the informal coaching that I’ve been providing for many years. I’ve used that training to support a variety of people in several different volunteer communities, including folks who attended our Leadership Training for Open Source course last year. In an effort to support the Drupal community more broadly I’m offering some free sessions for Drupalers.

Osio Labs will provide 2 free 1-hour sessions for people who contribute to Drupal in some form, e.g. code, events, documentation, project management, etc. There is limited space available in my schedule, but I’ll try to accommodate as many folks as I can. That means that not everyone will be able to get a spot or that it may be a while before my calendar has space available. All engagements will start off with a 30-minute “get to know you” call so you can get a feel for who I am and whether we think coaching together makes sense.

What is Coaching?

Coaching is a partnership designed to help you solve problems for yourself. As a rule, coaching stays focused on the present and future, helping you find the ground beneath your feet and your path forward. You decide what needs to be worked on and how to get there. My role is to inspire new ideas or challenge existing ones as you do the work to find your way.

I provide a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space for you to explore questions and ideas. This is very much a client-driven practice where you control the direction of the sessions and your effort inside and out of the session time is what produces results.

Your Drupal life isn’t the only thing going on so topics for coaching can be anything and everything in life, even if it’s not related to Drupal or your community roles in any way.

We can all use some outside perspective on things at times and this is a way to have a supportive ear while you work through something. If you’re curious but unsure, feel free to submit an inquiry and we can talk about it in a 30-minute “get to know you” call. You can decide if it’s something you want right now or not.

Who am I?

I’m the CEO of Osio Labs, which is the company that makes Drupalize.Me. I’ve been working on open source projects for 20 years, with most of that time in the Drupal project, including time as the project’s Documentation Lead and 2 stints on the Drupal Association Board. I have my coaching certification with the Institute of Coaching Studies and I’m Dare to Lead Trained. My Drupal.org username is add1sun.
